The objective of the Northwoods PTA is to help create the best school environment in which our children can learn and grow by providing volunteers, resources and support.

You may sign-up for the e-mail distribution list by sending a request to northwoodselempta@yahoo.com.  The PTA will be using this method of communication on a regular basis to keep our school community apprised of upcoming events and calendar updates.
E-mail addresses will be kept private.  This list will not be used for any other purpose and e-mail addresses will not be shared.

Welcome!  Let me begin by extending a warm welcome to both new and returning Northwoods families!  We are happy to have you as a part of our school community. 

Northwoods is a school community with wonderful volunteers and a very caring staff and administration.  Your school needs and welcomes your support.  Whether you volunteer in your child’s classroom or through the PTA, there are many ways to show your support.  “Studies show that, in general, children of involved parents have better school experiences, higher grades and test scores, fewer disciplinary problems and more supportive teachers.” – National PTA

As parents, I believe that one of the best ways we can support our children is to do what we can for the teachers and staff, who support and care for our children. 

Our PTA has countless opportunities to get involved at every level.  Make a point to join the PTA and GET INVOVLED!  Please remember you are always needed and wanted at school.  The teachers, staff, and PTA love volunteers!  Check our committee list to see where you can contribute to the new and improved Northwoods!  I look forward to working with each and every one of you and appreciate the opportunity to serve as your PTA president.
